Located in Nine Elms Battersea, ra. have designed a multifunctional performance space, recording studios, cafe and teaching rooms for the musical education charity World Heart Beat. The building is embedded with state of the art audio equipment including d&b's Immersive Soundscape Audio System. The use of these technologies will position the building as a blueprint for the future of musical education, with facilities available to students centred on digital production and performance. ra. Successfully achieved planning permission for office use on this unit next to Temple train station. Redesigning the interior which was previously a restaurant into an attractive office environment. ra. acted as project manger for the construction phase with completion achieved by HOP in July 2023 under a JCT Design & Build Contract. The internal layout was changed considerably with a new mezzanine floor and office amenity spaces created for the incoming tenant.
ra. Gained full planning permission for this spacious family home in Brighton. Taking inspiration from the local geology the facades are made of differing stone materials. The home is framed by a series of existing mature trees. Construction began in early 2022 and ra. in collaboration with VT developed the full interior design of the home. Taking this project from concept through to completion, the project has utilised BIM modelling and multi discipline coordination.
ra. Successfully achieved ra. Successfully achieved multiple Listed Building planning permissions for the renovation of this beautiful Wiltshire cottage. Works include external and internal alterations and multiple outbuilding renovation. The project spanned a 3 year period as ra. acted as leader designer and Contract Administrator across the contracts.
